In 1981 Kevin earned his First Degree Black Belt, just before turning 10 years old. He has been a devoted martial artist ever since. Kevin decided years ago he wanted to own a martial arts center to help kids and adults reach their fullest potential. During the past decade,  Kevin has won 2 world kickboxing titles and one U.S title.  In 1994, Kevin won the Karate International Council of Kickboxing World Cruiserweight Championship, with a 12 round victory over Neil Singleton. To top off 1994, Kevin graduated from the University of South Carolina-Spartanburg, with a degree in Business Management and got married to a beautiful lady named Shannon. Kevin then took a break from kickboxing to concentrate on building his school. In March 2000, Kevin tested for his Go-dan (5th degree black belt) under Joe Lewis. After a brief hiatus from kickboxing Kevin returned to the ring, in 2002, to capture a 10 round decision over Lane Collyer for the I.K.F. Heavy Weight United States title. His current kickboxing record is 21wins, 5 losses, with 10 wins by knock out.
